Who we are

MODORA — Custom Cabinetry & Kitchen Design is based in Chestermere, Alberta and serves Calgary, Chestermere and surrounding communities. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@modora.ca.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

• Contact form. If the online enquiry form is available and you use it, we receive your name, email address and the optional details you provide (phone number, project type, city, budget range, timeline and your message).
• Phone and email. If you call or email us, we receive the information you share in that conversation.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, discuss and plan your project, and provide our services. We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing, and we do not add you to mailing lists.

How the contact form works

• Form submissions are sent by email to info@modora.ca and are not stored in a database on this website.
• To limit spam, the website temporarily keeps a one-way, encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (not the address itself) for up to 24 hours.
• The form uses a signed, time-limited code instead of cookies to block automated submissions.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and maintenance.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run this website and our email, including our web hosting and email provider in Canada or the United States. Website content is managed in Google Workspace; visitor information is not sent to Google by this website. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

Retention

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of your project and any record-keeping period required by law. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your choices and rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act, you can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use. Email info@modora.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
